Tamao smiled back at him and said, “No, you are no bother at all. Rather, I am glad you’ve come here.” Tamao grabbed her cup of tea and drank some. She then looked down at the tea and said, ” I do not have much guests come and the household can be quite lonely at times.” She then looks up and said, ” So thank you for coming Labrador-san. May I ask, what brings you here? Or perhaps you are lost?”
A gloved hand gently picked up the tea cup before he sipped at the liquid within. “I’m glad I can disturb the loneliness,” he hummed at the pleasant flavor, pleased. “My reasoning for being here is quite embarrassing, and I’m…” He offered Tamao a flustered smile, “a bit chagrined you managed to pick up on it so quickly. I am indeed lost.” Very much so, as much as he didn’t want to admit it.
Sit down because I am about to educate the fuck out of you.
askteitoklein asked: The teen leaned over and pecked the flower bishop on the nose. With pink tinging his cheeks, he smiled. ((lolidkbutloveyoumamalab<3))
Labrador glanced away flustered before offering Teito a bright smile.

He blinks in confusion, “… Wh-why…?” His eyebrows knit together briefly before he shrugged and continued with making a cup of tea.
rukahaio asked: *cheek kisses Labrador-san~*
Surprised smile, “Thank you, Ruka-dear.”
“I know it’s not.” He managed to get out between bursts of giggles. “But sure you have some time management skills that could help you with everything.” Lab was fun to tease and even though it was rather mean, the healer couldn’t help but prod at him.
“They are!” He couldn’t help but chirp out. Other than his father, people didn’t take the time to sit and talk with him about botanical interests. Resting his head on his knees, Sphintus frowned slightly as he tried to imagine just how that must feel. He loved his plants, but he didn’t have an attachment to them like the Bishop did. “So, can you talk to them then? The way you speak, makes it seem like the plants are actually able to communicate with you.”
Labrador’s blank stare at the other’s remark of time management was answer enough on that front. Who had time for ‘time management’? People with too much time on their hands, obviously, which he clearly did not have. The bishop resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the fellow plant fanatic.
“Can I speak to them?” The bishop brightened and nodded enthusiastically, getting more comfortable and relaxed in his position. “Yes, most definitely. Each plant has a particular dialect, a tone, a language special only to them, but they seem to love to converse and attract my attention.” He laughed softly into a hand. “Think of it like hundreds of tiny voices, speaking at once, light and soft on the wind and only able to be heard if you happen to catch it just right. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don’t have to focus as much anymore, and I just react and speak to them as they do me, It… confuses people when they come to speak to me and I’m ‘whispering’ to a plant.”
They walked side by side, in the lantern lit corridors of the Church. Gloved fingers occasionally brushed against one another through pure chance. Smiles were shared as it came time to separate, awkward words exchanged, murmurs of repeating the occurrence in the future and happy agreements.
Smiles slowly dropped into something uncertain, eyes glimmering with hope. He nervously licked his bottom lip, the other’s gaze darting to the location. A pause, and then two. And there was a soft “goodnight”, and the other made their way on, leaving him at the door of his room.
He entered the room and shut the door behind him with a reluctant sigh, not noticing the stare from outside, the one lamenting a lack of action.
I should have kissed you
I should have pushed you up against the wall
I should have kissed you
Just like I wasn’t scared at all
